Swiss company Taurus became a licensed securities company. Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA, the Swiss financial market regulator granted it a license to operate the world's first regulated digital asset market.
Platform Taurus named Digital eXnage (TDX) responds to the growing demand of both banks and issuers for access to open and independent infrastructure tokenized securities and other digital assets.
A unique marketplace created by Taurus
The TDX platform creates the world's first marketplace connecting banks, issuers and investors to exchange various groups of digital assets. The solution implemented by Taurus is aimed at unblocking liquidity for various market participants, which becomes possible thanks to tokenization of capital, art, cryptocurrency, real estate and other digital assets.
The platform was created on the basis of innovative technology, as a response to the growing demand of market entities for access to a regulated, independent and open market of digital assets. Banks and financial institutions such as Arab Bank Switzerland, FlowBank, Hypothekarbank Lenzburg, SEBA Bank and the Swiss stock exchange Investis Group have joined TDX.
New perspectives for companies
As Sebastien Dessimoz, co-founder of Taurus argued some time ago, tokenization of tangible assets is the future of investment. It is thanks to it that smaller and medium-sized companies, as well as larger unlisted corporations and companies operating in real estate industry, will gain access to greater liquidity and capital.
Until now, this could only be achieved by large listed companies. Thanks to the securities firm's license from FINMA, TDX provides users with a secure, regulated digital infrastructure. The platform, depending on the underlying assets and the regulatory framework, is able to support such tools as liquid central order books with a limit or auction-based systems.
