The attack consisted in the fact that while using the website Gate.io payout address Bitcoin he was automatically changed to an address controlled by Hackers!
It is not known how long this procedure lasts, and how many people are affected. The whole matter saw the light daily thanks to the Czech company ESETwhich deals with cybersecurity. The case is developmental, so far it is difficult to assess the damage due to the fact that the false addresses that appeared during withdrawals changed each time and the funds are dispersed over a large number of addresses.
