Ergo Hestia launched a pilot project related to a new service that was developed together with fintech Billon. The new solution is based on technology blockchain, and it allows you to quickly transfer funds to customers, without knowing their bank account numbers.
The new solution will improve the customer service process
Ergo Hestia is another company that has turned to blockchain technology. In cooperation with fintech Billon created a tool based on electronic money, ensuring the possibility of instant transfer of money to customers, without the need to know their bank accounts. They will be able to use such a service, among others those customers who claim a premium for the unused insurance period after the sale of the car.
Ergo Hestia representatives assure that all activity required from the user will last about one minute. The new solution will allow him to quickly decide where the funds should be returned to him, and he can indicate, for example, a payment account kept at any bank.
Collaboration with Billon
For now, the new service is in the testing phase. The tool that Ergo Hestia intends to introduce is based on a service provided by Billon Solutions, based on blockchain technology.
So far, it is the only company in Poland that has managed to obtain a license of an electronic money institution granted by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. The solution developed by Billon is that digital zlotys are registered in a special proprietary technology of a distributed ledger. It differs from traditional blockchain-based systems in that it allows transactions to be carried out using real currencies issued by central banks.
