Offices in Poland are becoming increasingly digitized. Customers can already do many things electronically, without the need for a personal visit to the facility, including submitting annual tax returns, which are not only sent to the appropriate office, but also automatically accounted for by the system. However, this is not the end, because the tax authorities are planning further changes that will further improve taxpayer service - e-tax office will be based on blockchain i artificial intelligence.

The tax office turns to modern technologies

After the e-PIT service, the time has come for the e-tax office.

The new program is expected to be launched next year and will be based on blockchain technology and artificial intelligence.

Taxpayers will be able to set up their individual tax account, which will be part of the tax system, even safer and more tight, according to the financial representative for IT.

According to the assurances, the system should also be transparent, easy to use and user-friendly. Its creation also uses such means as big data and cloud computing.

According to experts World Economic Forum, governmental use of blockchain technology will reach its critical point by the year 2023, and it will find its widest application in the tax system.

The e-tax office based on blockchain and artificial intelligence is also likely to contribute to greater clarity of tax regulations.

Their incorrect interpretation is currently one of the main problems of Polish tax offices.

Fully digitized e-tax office

The program, which is to start next year, is actually one of the first stages of the total digitization of the tax office, which will result in the creation of an e-office based on blockchain.

It is to provide taxpayers with comprehensive service for which e-officials will be responsible.

The entire digitization process is expected to last around the next three years, and new solutions will be implemented gradually.

They are to provide taxpayers with simpler solutions (one of them is to be a file JPK_VAT for settling VAT), as well as to limit mistakes made in settlements with the tax office.
