The premiere of Disney's NFT collection took place on November 12, during Disney Plus Day. Fans then had a chance to win tokens representing iconic moments from Disney productions. The released NFT collection also includes productions such as Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars.
Sales are conducted through the VeVe NFT Marketplace platform, which is no stranger to the Disney corporation. Some time ago, it started working with Disney-Unit Marvel to launch a collection of historical comics.
Free subscription to the Disney Plus channel for Golden Moments buyers
The NFT Golden Moments collection includes golden statuettes depicting the most famous moments in the history of Disney. People who received the tokens also won a free three-month subscription to the Disney Plus channel. In addition, buyers of the Ultra Rare digital collection, which was also exhibited on the occasion of Disney Plus Day, were given the chance for an annual subscription.
Famous comics in the collections of NFT
The launch of the VeVe Marketplace partnership was a strategic move for Disney. Marvel Studio established contact with the platform at the beginning of this year in order to start cooperation. The collection dedicated to comic book fans has gained particular importance in events organized by the Disney brand.
CD Comics launched a special line of collector's items at the beginning of October this year. Their premiere took place during the DC FanDome event. It was released in conjunction with Palm NFT Studios and met with great interest. The subject of the collection were digital covers of hard-to-reach comics about characters such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman.
