German stock exchange Frankfurt Stock Exchange (also known as Borse Frankfurt) recently announced that it was last year's best-selling product crypto certificates. The trading volume in their case reached over EUR 18,4 billion.
The Frankfurt Stock Exchange has the largest database of cryptographic certificates
Cryptographic certificates have recently become very popular. The best proof of this is the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, where the turnover of this product in 2021 amounted to over EUR 18,4 billion.
Although compared to the previous year there was a slight decrease (in 2020 the turnover amounted to EUR 21,1 billion), there are many indications that it is cryptocurrency certificates that will soon take over the leading position among financial products.
As he provides Florian Claus, a member of the Board of Directors of Börse Frankfurt, the stock exchange has the largest database of products in the category of cryptographic certificates on the German market, which is being gradually expanded. Thanks to it, investors are able to conduct efficient and safe cryptocurrency trading via their own securities account.
New tax amenities
It cannot be denied that cryptocurrency certificates have achieved great success in the German market. The method of saving that the Frankfurt Stock Exchange has to offer to its users also seems to be significant in this context. In July last year, a new law entered into force in Germany, which allowed the exchange to resign from charging VAT on transaction fees paid by users.
Deutsche Börse is building a cryptocurrency ecosystem
Börse Frankfurt belongs to the Deutsche Börse group, existing since 1992, which has been showing great interest in the cryptocurrency market since last year. The company then acquired a majority stake in Crypto Finanse AG, a Swiss company offering cryptocurrency products and services. Its acquisition was finalized in December last year. The group then declared that it had set itself the goal of creating a coherent European cryptocurrency ecosystem.
