Careaga emphasizes that it was an opportunity to support a longtime friend of the brand, Special Olympics International. NFT Coca-Cola was created in collaboration with Tafi, a respected provider of custom 3D content for avatars and emoji systems.
Auction participants could bid on the Coca-Cola Friendship Box NFT, a reconstructed version of a collector's machine, a personalized Coca-Cola Bubble Jacket Wearable (designed like Coca-Cola delivery uniforms, decorated with illuminated bubbles),
A Friendship Card, a surprise reward and three additional NFTs. The auction was charitable, and all the proceeds from it went to the brand friend mentioned above - Special Olympics International. This is not the only NFT auction with the proceeds donated to charity.
One of them was recently organized by The AB Factory cultural association, allocating the funds raised to an organization working for animals.
